We consider it a great honor to be picked as Athletes of the month. Thank you Korby! From our first visit in March of 2018, we were welcomed by everyone. Each coach is extraordinary in their own unique way. No matter what the WOD is we are encouraged, supported and taught the necessary techniques to improve our fitness and minimize injury.
After Carl recently experienced back-to-back health events (heart attack and cancer), his physician insisted that Carl find something at least 3 days a week that would break a sweat and work on cardio. As we all know CrossFit does both. With Gail’s encouragement, we have now been CrossFitters for almost a year and just signed up for the Open. Carl’s cardiologist is thrilled, Carl’s prediabetes is in check, and Gail has been able to decrease blood pressure meds.
Today we are stronger, improving our cardio fitness and doing workouts we never thought possible in a fun supportive community.
We both desire to age well and have quality of life as we consider our retirement years. Because of CrossFit Loop, the coaches and other members we have the tools to reach our goals.
And please, no more burpees.
