I'll be honest...when Joby called me at 7:00am to tell me that Loop wanted to spotlight me, I thought he had been up all night partying like a 20 year old CU sorority sister (only respect to the CU sorority sisters out there). Knowing a large number of the Loop athletes, this is a great honor for me. As amazing as Korby, Anne, Lee and our coaching staff is, it's the people that I get to interact with on a daily basis that make Loop what it is! A family.

Some background...

Man, I used to get so annoyed with Crossfit folk. Crossfit, Crossfit, Crossfit. You ask them what time it is, how their day was, how they're going to impact the world in a positive way and the answer was always Crossfit. 'A cult!', I used to say! My wife was the first one to drink the Kool-Aid. She must have belonged to a box for a year or two before I caved and joined a box miles away from hers so she wouldn't feel ashamed of her husband...

The truth...

I had it all wrong. Passion! People who Crossfit are passionate about what they do. For a myriad of reasons. They show up every day for the betterment of themselves and those around them. They share love, support, blood, sweat and tears together in this common goal. I so resonate with that. What an incredible community we are a part of together! I look forward to growing in community together with each of you.

I know this isn't much of a bio...but if you'd like to get to know me, I usually spend my evenings at Loop. I love hugs, even the sweaty ones, so come and introduce yourself!

I'm also super passionate about my hot Latina wife, camping, hiking, fly fishing or anything that involves being outside amongst God's wonder.
